As of March, C&D's overall consumption of electricity was 7% less than that of 2007.

Martinez Office glows with a 56% savings from this time last year. Admin. staff at Corporate has pulled in to second place with a 36% savings. Last years top three make a showing as well with Daly City saving 29%, Union City with 23% savings and San Jose reflecting a 12% savings.

Keep practicing those energy saving techniques everyone. The race is on!

The chart below reflects our year to date electrical energy consumption compared to last year's. Livermore's totals are delayed.

When looking at the information below please consider:

1. Number of people in office during the working day.
2. Number of network servers running.
3. Number of computers, printers and fax machines turned on and associated lighting.

Tips:

1. Turn off computers if you are not going to be using them within the hour. Remember printers and monitors too.
2. Turn off lights in unoccupied spaces. This goes for fluorescent lighting too.
3. Check your workspace before leaving for the evening. Is your computer, monitor and printer turned off?
