Natural Gas & Propane - Therms

To date, we have a mixed bag of natural gas usage. While some locations are doing phenomenally well, from last year at this time, others are not faring as well. Overall however, C&D is has burned only 65% of the natural gas it did in 2007.

As things warm up, we can hope for more savings. Last year, April and May reflected natural gas use. Keep those layers on, the heaters off and we may see better savings!

The chart below reflects our year to date natural gas and propane energy consumption.

When looking at the information below, please consider the number of people in each office throughout the working day.

Tips:

1. Reduced your thermostat to 65 degrees.
2. Use outside ambient temperatures to warm or cool your office space.
3. Close all windows and doors when energy is being consumed to either heat or cool your building.
4. Outfit yourself with layered clothing. Too cold... cover up. Too warm... take your coat or sweater off.
