• LaVerne Griffin coordinated orders of everyday print/copy paper, as well as paper towels & TP, to be post-consumer, recycled & bleach free.
• Dennis Dougherty suggested outgoing Company marketing be produced with Tree-free materials (Hemp, Coffee, Banana and biomass paper). Style Book Group considering bid proposal (branding) and business card paper stock for initial project.
  

Catalogs

Eliminate industry (and beyond) catalogs by appealing to suppliers.

• Created the “Call Box” to throw catalogs in for Kelly to call suppliers asking them not to send us their catalogs. Not only to reduce paper consumption but offer to post a link to their business from our web site if they comply.
• A list will be kept to reference who's been called
  

HQ Heater/Air Condition

• Heater/Air will not be left on over night – need agreement and accountability on monitoring thermostats with office personnel.
• Confirm system is programmed for evening and weekend temperatures.
• Develop processes for addressing the temperature differences between Accounting and Customer Service sections.
• Adhere to schedule for filter changes.
• Have an analysis done of heating/cooling systems for efficiency.
• Use natural/out door temperatures to regulate interior rather than utilizing heating/cooling system
• Use personal desk fans to increase air flow
• Look into attic fan
  

Recycle Bins

Develop a company wide recycling bin program. By normalizing receptacles, all C&D locations will have identical, easily recognizable bins to simplify recycling tasks.

• Request local sanitary companies provide recycle containers for yards. Greening Consultant, Emily Ryan will help Lisa Freese discover and explain all of the recycling streams of each location starting with HQ - Novato.
• Distribute stacked bins for all corporate offices.
• Distribute "carryable" blue bins for print/copy paper to Yards and Offices
• Distribute slender blue bin for Yard's glass/can/plastic recycling.

Projects will be described as they develop (even if work has not been started - at least the question will be entertained).

• Project coordinators and GO! Team provide press releases to Khrysti for page development. Weekly communication to employees is essential.
