In 1955 Tom Cagwin, a graduate in Ornamental Horticulture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, formed a partnership with David Dorward, a Stanford business economics graduate.
Together they started landscaping high end residential and commercial landscapes in Marin County, California. Cagwin and Dorward incorporated in 1961 in the State of California.
Today, Cagwin & Dorward is a dominant service provider in the greater bay area providing landscape services from Windsor to Sacramento and down to Carmel. Head quartered in Novato, California, our landscape professionals are dispatched from several strategically located service centers to provide high quality landscape services to those requiring landscape maintenance, irrigation installation and maintenance, landscape construction, tree care, or erosion control.
