Future Visioning of Urban Landscapes

23.5 percent of California's Electricity comes from renewables and large hydro electric. 76.5 percent comes from a combination of coal, natural gas and nuclear. Sierra snow pack and rain provide over 12% of our electricity. A prolonged drought would decrease hydroelectric generation thus making us more dependent of fossil fuels and nuclear.
