We all hear about "walking the talk". Cagwin & Dorward's Delanie Kern is adding a spin on the adage by cycling to work.

Delanie entered a essay competition with the Marin County Bike Coalition (MCBC). She won! She got a Globe bike, GPS and a backpack. The catch:

She has to ride 50 miles a month and blog about her adventures on both the MCBC site and Facebook. If she does this for 6 months, she will get to keep the $1,000.00 bike!

She has been riding her bike, Gretchen, to work in Novato from San Anselmo, almost every week! Additionally, she bikes for all kinds of errands like groceries & banking and to social events, like restaurants, BBQ's & parties. She even rode to this year's Italian Street Painting Festival and Marin Civic Center's Farmer's Market.
