The Santa Clara Valley Water District (SCVWD) offers a Landscape Rebate Program which includes rebates for converting qualifying high water using landscape to approved low water using landscape as well as irrigation hardware upgrades, including qualifying weather based controllers.
A weather based irrigation controller (WBIC) waters the landscape utilizing weather and plant type data. This technology is proving to generate water savings as high as 50%.
